I hate it when a restaraunt wants to charge you for a tip! I find it to be stupid and very rude.
I went to the Outback Steakhouse with my family. I had a great waitress and I planned on giving her a rather large tip. I got the bill, it had a 15% gratuity added to it. I asked the manager about it. They actually expected me to pay it. I went off on the manager. I explained to this retard what a gratuity was. I had to fight with him to get him to remove the charge. It really pissed me off. I left no tip at all because of that.
Here's the kicker: I was planning on giving the waitress a 30% tip for how well she did. She got nothing due to the stupidity and rudeness of that company. I know it isn't fair to the waitress, but it isn't fair to tell me how much I have to tip. If I don't want to tip at all, I don't have to.
